13 Aug 2013 Newbiggin

Had a couple of hours at the allotment this morning followed by a doggy walking session, a Tesco shopping trip and………………decided to have an hour or so lure fishing at Newbiggin.
Got there at 1450 and started fishing 1500 (HT 1615 8.28M).

It was nice day with a brisk North Westerly wind …on my back which allowed me to get more distance with the lures.

Started fishing with an 8 cm 10gm Red Head Storm Rattlin Salt Water Chug Bug
…………………….gave it plenty of rod action but to no effect!

Changed over to a 100mm 22gm holo blue/ holo silver Tsunami Super Popper,
once again ……………no success. I stuck it till high tide and called a day.

The views over Morecambe Bay made up for the blanking session though!
I lasted out until high water and decided to call it a day.
